Gabriela Corbera
I live in Newton, Massachusetts, a village outside of the City of Boston. I live in a quiet residence where I am hoping to introduce circular/doughnut based initiatives in Chestnut Hill.
I work as a freelance consultant in design, strategy and social innovation. I am based in Boston, MA yet have supported intiatives from Latin America, Asia Pacific and North America. For fun I like to read on international affairs and happiness studies.
The quiet residence, the well maintained gardens, the safety, and the kindness amongst neighbors. I'd like to improve waste management and community literacy on circular design.
I have settled with the idea that countries can coexist and act as bridges of innovation to target, solve poverty. I also believe strongly in the spiritual relationship we must have towards nature. As doughnut argues, there are ecological barriers, thus behavioral change is key.
I believe it can start from the home (kin), expand to outer social rings. On a municipial level, I think it comes from good governmental leadership, and right intentions towards incubating new solutions. Finance also has to be there on behalf of governments towards trying, testing new solutions.
I have experience in
- Design
- Strategic Management
- Partnership Relations
- Multistakholder Alignment
- Human Centered Design | Systems Thinking
I can offer strategic advisory on incubating new projects to municipalities as well as identifying key stakeholders to make Doughnut Projects successful. I have regional expertise in North America, Asia Pacific, and Latin America.
Lot of multistakeholder relations....
