'We are three students from Roskilde University, Thea, Magnus and Helena currently working on a Business studies project regarding the possibilities of implementing Doughnut Economics in the Municipality of Copenhagen. We have studied what doughnut economic is, which barriers and driving forces there exist, with a focus on the procurement policy in the municipality. With our interviews with politicians Gorm Gunnarsen and Fanny Broholm, Jennifer Johanna Drouin from the Amsterdam Donut Coalitie and the financial department in the municipality (who currently are working on an action plan, on how to implement the doughnut) together with theory about doughnut economics, sustainable procurement policy and implementation theory, we will outline the possible issues and barriers in the process. The overall purpose of the project is to analyze how and whether the municipality will implement the doughnut, and present our results to help and improve the implementation of doughnut economics in Copenhagen.'
